With a line-up featuring some of New York’s finest local EMCEES, RAPPERS, DANCERS, PRODUCERS and all-around HIP HOPPERS, HIP HOP: A BATTLE OF THE ELEMENTS promises to be an evening of raw entertainment brought to you by the people, for the people!

So! First is first. Who’s hosting and what are they boasting? Our beloved radio personality from “THE ZRO HOUR” EDAYE is going to take you on a journey through the elements, a roller-coaster-ride-in-time to present: THEORY, IAMPOPULA, WEEKEND MONEY & SPIRITCHILD VS SWISS CHRISS!

It’s no surprise, given our mantra to support independent artists that believe in community, and progress through education, that we have booked some genuine artists with positive messages. You can check out more about the featured artists on roll-call below along with some sweet video footage and some of their latest tracks to get you pumped.

 It is also definitely worth mentioning that besides your average show HIP HOP A BATTLE OF THE ELEMENTS will feature BEAT BATTLES, DANCE BATTLES, EMCEE BATTLES, CASH PRIZES and more for those who are interested in participating. Who doesn’t work weekends anymore to make that paper? WEEKEND MONEY understands your troubles, but they’ll pop that bubble quick with a legit fix, guaranteed rhymes and good times. Gritty dirty south meets electronica in a fusion that will be sure to have you movin!
